Last week in school we had a French Week. Throughout the week we went round the different classrooms and did a French Activity with each of the teachers. It was so much fun.
With Mrs Curry we learned about different French landmarks and we made bunting showing what France was famous for including cheese, perfume, wine and the landmarks.
With Miss Hampson we were learning how to say different fruits, colours and tastes in French. We also made fruit smoothies and completed a French colour by number activity and played French colour snap.
With Mrs Little we learned how to say different parts of the body in French and we learned the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" in French. We also played the game Le Garcon where we had to draw a person by rolling a dice to decide on which body part to draw and we had to say each body part in French.
With Mrs Elder we learned how to say different weather types in French and did lots of different activities involving that including the buzzer game.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, P6/7 arranged a French cafe for the rest of us to go to. At the French cafe we got to try crepes, croissants and chocolate brioches while speaking French to the P6/7s. While some of us were at the French cafe, the rest of the class went into the hall where the P6/7s had arranged French games for us to play.
